Act of Kindness..

Saturday is a fun day, indeed. And the choice is totally up to an individual how he/she likes to spend it. Some likes to spend time with families / go on a short trip / reading a book / hangout with friends / watching movie… et al.

There are people who follow an unconventional path for their weekend by indulging in social activities which are beneficial for the society / uplifting people’s life in some or the other way….. probably, this is what makes them happy – a thought of giving back to society.

Vinay Patil definitely falls in this rare category. A full time professional turned into an entrepreneur. A sense of responsibility towards society led him to form “Janaseva Pratishthan” in year 2000. The group was initially focusing only on sport related activities.

We learn from experiences & people around us. He also wasn’t an exception for it. Somebody left a big impact in his life which made him begin to help underprivileged children since year 2010.

A short summary can help us know him better: 

• He founded Janaseva Pratishthan in year 2000.
• To serve people – is the motive of Janaseva Pratishthan
• Year 2010, he begun helping underprivileged children. 
• Soon like minded friends, Raj Kambli & Prakash Gandhi joined him in this noble cause.
• Key achievements accomplished as of now  :
  1. Successfully reached in more than 12+ villages
  2. Provided educational help to 4500+ children
  3. Blood donation for patients who during medical emergencies
  4. Successful execution of FREE Darshan tours for senior citizens to spiritual place & pilgrimage site at Shirdi

Last weekend they visited couple of ‘Aadivasi pade’ & ZP – Zilha Parishad Primary Schools at Koparyachi Wadi & Dhaman Wadi at Neral village, Karjat Taluka, Raigad – district, Maharashtra.  Which covered, an educational kit distribution to 100+ children in the form of useful stationary in a school kit to students. A kit contained:

• A school bag
• Notebooks
• Pen, Pencils & a small compass box
• And some goodies in the form of biscuits & chocolates

Can easily spot the excitement and happiness on children’s face while accepting the kits & goodies. Their smiles conveys acceptance & appreciation of spreading joy & happiness.

Vinay's message for all : Every generation needs caretakers. And for your generation, its YOU.

His contribution is consistent for past 9+ years now… Are we doing our bit??
